Schools We Supported

We collaborate with schools in Dharamsala to provide essential resources and support for Tibetan students.

School 1

Tibetan Children's Village

Tibetan Children’s Villages (TCV) is a nonprofit organization established in 1960 in Dharamsala to care for and educate Tibetan refugee orphans and destitute children. Over time, TCV has grown into a large network of children’s villages, residential schools, and day schools across India, serving nearly 10,000 children and youth, and remains dedicated to providing a holistic education and preserving Tibetan culture. Its mission is to ensure that every child under its care receives sound education, develops a strong cultural identity, and becomes a self-reliant member of society.

School 2

Mewoen Tsuglag Petoen School

Mewoen Tsuglag Petoen School, founded in 2005 in Dharamsala, is a model school for Tibetan children in exile that combines modern education with traditional Tibetan language and values. Managed by the Sambhota Tibetan Schools Society, it teaches in Tibetan up to class III and introduces additional languages later, focusing on preserving Tibetan culture while providing quality education.

School 3

Yongling Creche & Kinder Garten

Yongling Crèche & Kindergarten, established in McLeod Ganj in 1984, serves to support working parents and meet the exile Tibetan government’s educational responsibilities for Tibetan children. The kindergarten is committed to providing a nurturing environment that encourages early childhood education. Currently, the school enrolls about 75 children, and also offers hostel facilities for some students to further support their learning and care.

Our Generous Donors

We are deeply grateful to the individuals who have supported our mission to empower Tibetan youth through their generous contributions.
