About Us

Tibetan Youth Initiative (TYI) is a youth-led nonprofit driven by the passion to uplift Tibetan communities through direct action, education, and cultural preservation. Founded by high school students, TYI blends modern advocacy with deep-rooted heritage, empowering a new generation of Tibetan leaders.

Our Mission

🎓 Educational Empowerment Support refugee schools and provide vital learning materials for Tibetan students.
📣 Global Advocacy Raise awareness for Tibetan youth issues through media, events, and campaigns.
🧠 Cultural Workshops Host community sessions on identity, heritage, and Tibetan language revival.
🤝 Youth Leadership Empower young Tibetans to lead change in their communities and beyond.

Our Impact

Thanks to our amazing supporters, we’ve raised over $3,000 to help Tibetan students access vital school supplies, technology, and cultural programs. Every dollar goes directly to making a difference in the lives of young Tibetans in India.
